About these terms
These terms govern membership of Umbrella Freight Network and use of this website. By applying for membership or using the site, you agree to them. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to do so.
Membership
Membership is by application and is not automatic. We review each application and approve or decline it at our discretion. We aim to appoint one exclusive agent per country, so an application may be declined because that territory is already represented rather than because of any shortcoming on your part.
Your obligations as a member
You agree to keep the information in your company profile accurate and current, to conduct yourself professionally with other members, and to honour the commercial arrangements you make through the network. Contact details you obtain through the network are provided so that you can do business with fellow members.
Use of the members directory
The directory and the contact details within it are provided for members’ own business use. You may not scrape, harvest, export or systematically collect member information, nor use it to send unsolicited marketing, nor pass it to anyone outside your company. Doing so is grounds for immediate termination of membership.
Logos and content
By uploading your company logo and profile information you give us permission to display them on this website and in the members directory for as long as you are a member. Everything else on this site remains our property or that of our licensors.
Conference
Our annual conference is a member benefit governed by its own terms, provided when registration opens. Nothing on this page varies those terms.
Suspension and termination
You may end your membership at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate a membership that breaches these terms, that misuses member information, or where a member’s conduct damages the network or its members.
Availability of the site
We work to keep this site available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. The site is provided as it is, and we may change or withdraw features.
Our responsibility to you
Umbrella Freight Network introduces members to one another; we are not a party to the commercial contracts you enter into with other members, and we are not responsible for their performance, solvency or conduct. You are responsible for your own due diligence on any counterparty. Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.
